About the event
Poulsbo’s Day of Positivity has one goal: bringing the community together around the simple idea of positivity and encouraging those around you. The event is free to the public and will showcase a great variety of local non-profits and activities for those young and old. There will also be live music preformed by local youth musicians from 2pm to 9pm.
We have a booth and will be there from 1p-5p, and our fun activity is mandalas and coloring pens and markers. We will also have informaton abut Bainbridge Island Girl Up.
This event was founded and organized by North Kitsap senior Geneva Newell, a girl scout who put the event together for her gold award project. Read about her and the event here. We think she is an awesome example of what Girl Up stands for: girls who step up to lead and make things happen!
Come out and see the power of positivity and what people are doing in our community to make a better future.
