SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

Thank you for your interest in inviting me to speak. Sharing ideas, building connection, and opening new pathways—especially for youth, women, and underrepresented voices—is work I care deeply about.
Over the years, I’ve spoken at global forums, classrooms, leadership summits, and fundraising events. In every case, I bring preparation, presence, and a commitment to meaningful engagement, not just a speech. To honor the time, labor, and energy that goes into that work, I typically request an honorarium.
Honorarium Guidelines
My speaking fees generally range from $750 to $5,000, depending on:
-
Audience size and event format (virtual, in-person, hybrid)
-
Level of customization or preparation requested
-
Whether the engagement involves travel, multiple sessions, or a keynote
- Whether the event includes fundraising or donor activation components
When my presence is central to a fundraising effort (donor events, benefit luncheons, or campaigns where I’m invited to help inspire giving), I may request a higher honorarium or a value-based structure tied to the event’s goals. This reflects the real influence speakers have in shaping outcomes and ensuring success.
A note about awards:
I’m honored when organizations choose to recognize my work. That recognition means a great deal. But if an award is paired with a request to speak, especially at a fundraising event, then I generally treat it as a speaking engagement. Honoring someone and asking them to help raise money are not the same, and I’ve learned to distinguish between the two.
For youth-serving organizations, schools, or grassroots programs with limited resources, I’m open to sliding-scale options, collaborative alternatives, or sponsorship-supported engagement. I care about access and equity, and I’m happy to find a path forward when mission and timing align.
If you’d like to explore working together, please reach out using the contact form with details about your event, audience, and format. I look forward to learning more.
